When people think of starting an online business, they often think of eBay. eBay is probably the simplest way to run a home business as there are many tools available to you online and a great deal of literature on the topic detailing both its positives and negatives.

The primary way people profit from eBay is by selling items on the site and paying fees to eBay per sale. This has recently come under scrutiny as sellers claim that eBay are raising their seller fees every year. Fortunately, eBay have launched a new program that offers you an alternative way to profit from their services.

eBay Affiliate Marketing is the newest way to make money from the online auction giant. The eBay Affiliate Marketing program has been set up so you can advertise any auction you want, not just your own auctions. Therefore, if someone clicks the link and wins the auction, you get commission. You can get $50-$75 commission on each winning bid and $25-$35 per new active eBay member.

To take part in the eBay Affiliate Marketing program, all you need is a website or blog to post your affiliate links. eBay even gives you affiliate tools to make it easy for you to post these links including a “Best Practices” section where they give you tips on how to reign in more traffic.
